Top players in contention again

Iain Pyman, Greig Hutcheon and Hennie Otto, have been the key players in recent European Challenge Tour events. They were the leaders again Wednesday at the Daewoo Warsaw Open in Poland. Pyman (66) and Hutcheon (66), were clubhouse leaders until overtaken late in the day by South African Hennie Otto with a 65..

Pyman shot a bogey free round which included a holed wedge shot for an eagle two at the 11th hole.

"I'm surprised I scored so well because I'm buying a house at the moment and my mind was on other things," he said. "But if I can have a high finish this week to make sure of my card for next year then I'll only play a couple more Challenge Tour events this year."

Justin Rose's struggles contined he shot a 72 on a day when nearly half the field broke par.
