Park holds one-shot lead after second round

Playing his first European Tour event, David Park of Wales shot a 3-under 69 today and took the undisputed lead after the second round of the $560,000 Moroccan Open.

Park, the co-first round leader, was at 8-under 136 for two rounds over the 6,657-yard Royal Agadir course.

Spain's Miguel Martin, a two-time Tour winner but currently 115th on the European money list, fired a 71 to tie for second at 138. Also at 138 were Carlos Larrain of Venezuela (70) and Eric Carlberg of Sweden (72).

England's Justin Rose, the 18-year-old who finished fourth in last year's British Open as an amateur, failed for the 21st consecutive time to make the cut on the European Tour. He shot a 78 after an opening 83 for a 17-over 161.
