U.S. Open sectional qualifiers and alternatesThe
following are the results for sectional qualifying for the 1998 U.S. Open Championship
held at nine sites on Monday, 8th June and three sites on Tuesday, 9th June. The
U.S. Open will be conducted at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, Calif., 18th
- 21st June. The 89 qualifiers will join 67 fully exempt
players in the field of 156. (a-amateur)
