Singh claimed the first major title of his career today by shooting a final-round
68 and edging past Steve Stricker by two strokes. On the back nine it turned into
a duel between Singh and Stricker, as the pair matched birdies at 15. The turning
point may have come at 17, where both Singh and Stricker were in the same bunker.
Singh managed to get it up and down, while Stricker's putt slipped by the edge
