Half Moon introduce the total golf experience

Half Moon the luxury resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica has introduced a Total Golf Experience package which includes green fees, a golf cart and caddy for the resorts Robert Trent Jones Senior 18-hole championship course.

The Total Golf Experience Package includes green fees for 18 holes of golf daily, a golf cart, caddy, a sleeve of golf balls and hat.

Prices for the Total Golf Experience package start from US$780 per night for two adults sharing a superior room. In addition to the daily golf, the package includes all meals, premium drinks at hotel bars, a fully stocked mini bar, room service, champagne in the room on arrival, unlimited use of the resorts 13 floodlit tennis courts, fitness centre, kayaks and paddle boats and round trip transfers from Montego Bay airport.

Half Moon has recently invested US$2 million on the par-72 course to provide improvements for both dedicated and casual golfers. Dubbed one of the best walking courses in the Caribbean it now features newly aligned, multiple tee complexes as well as repositioned fairway and greenside bunkers. The two-year renovation work was undertaken under the guidance of renowned golf course architect, Roger Rulewich.

The renovation work also saw improvements made to the Caribbeans only David Leadbetter Golf Academy which is attached to the Half Moon golf course. Rulewich laser-leveled a new teaching tee adding a custom-designed short game area that allows players to practice chipping, pitching and bunker shots.

Away from the golf course, Half Moon has plenty of other attractions which include a mile-long white sand beach, squash courts, an equestrian centre, full service spa, a dolphin lagoon and numerous watersports.

Half Moon has been named the "Best Caribbean Golf Resort" by Caribbean World Magazine.
