Winter Warmer returns to the Manor House

Autumn 2008: The award winning Manor House Golf Club in Castle Combe is once again introducing a series of highly competitive “Winter Warmer Packages” starting from just £39.50 per person.

Visitors will receive tea/coffee and homemade shortbread on arrival, use of the Callaway sponsored practice facilities, shared buggy, 18 holes of golf followed by a meal in the stunning clubhouse from just £39.50 per person based on four or more golfers between 1st November and 31st March 2009.

For bookings of 20 or more players, the organiser will received a complimentary overnight stay with dinner in the club’s striking sister property on the Estate, The Manor House Hotel.

The Manor House has continued to attract praise and accolades this season and was awarded Golf Monthly Magazine’s “Regional Gold Award” for quality of design and presentation. More recently The Manor House featured in Golf Monthly’s Top 50 Stay and Play venues in Great Britain and Ireland. Each venue was judged on the quality and presentation of the course, quality of the hotel, ambience, activities and facilities and the all important value for money. The judging team included members of the editorial team and reader panellists who stayed at the hotel and played the 6,500 yard course which is located in 365 acres of Cotswolds parkland.

The course originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark appeals to both male and female golfers and with the recent addition of new tees can be played at the full championship length or the more gentle yardage of 5264 from the ladies tees.

The stunning Manor House Hotel is just a two minute drive from the course and 10 minute drive from the M4 and dates back to the 14th century. The hotel offers 48 individually styled and designed bedrooms located in the main house and in the quaint and elegant Mews alongside the hotel.
